On April 14, 2007 the Belvedere Charity Inc. organized its first party on a charter boat. The main guest of the Spring party was Andrzej Rosiewicz, specially invited from Poland.

The evening cruise took place on the ship "Cabaret" and was rich in its artistic program.

During the course of the evening Miss Spring was also selected. The competition was based on originality of dress and colorful additions such as wreaths or flowers. The jury had the difficult task of choosing among beautiful and colorful dresses. Almost unanimously, however, they chose Elzbieta Sjoblom as Miss Spring.

During the event there was also a mini-auction of paintings by Bogdan Kujawski as well as jewelry donated by Jozef & Sons Jewelry. Thanks to the funds collected through the auction, raffle and sale of Foundation shirts, we will help support the Center for Treatment of Cancer and Infertility at the Downtown Hospital in New York, directed by Dr. Jeanetta Stega and Giuseppe del Priore. One of the programs which this Center is proposing a special program for Polish-Americans without medical insurance.

While all the participants were partying, the ship sailed from the West Side past Downtown, then next to the Statue of Liberty to the East Side and finally docked. Given the panorama of the city, the elegant dishes, unforgettable dresses and interesting company, not everybody was happy with the punctual return of the ship, at 11:30 pm.
