GALA CARNIVAL
On January 26th 2008 Belvedere Charity organized Gala Carnival. The Party took place in the heart of Greenpoint - The Princess Manor Restaurant. The main guest of the evening was Rafal Olbinski who gave us short and intresting reelection about the history of every of his posters and his new book "12 Opowiadan". All posters were sold with good profit. The most expensive one was a poster "New York" which was sold for $1100 by Ralph A. Martinelli.
Attraction of the party was great performance of US and Canada Ballroom Dance Champions Karolina Holody and Oskar Wojciechowski. The junior dance pair Ada Jarocka and Piotr Majran also displayed their dancing skills.
Thanks to the funds collected through the auction, sale of books, flowers, we helped Marzena Baran suffering from brain cancer. We gave (delivered?) her a check in amount of $8,000. Marzena was very active social worker in polish association in Mahopac, Weschester, NY.
