POLISH SCHOOL CHRISTMAS SHOW IN MAHOPAC

On December 21st 2008 during the annual Christmas show in Mahopac N.Y. our Foundation organized a fundraiser for Zuzia Cimaszewska a 17 month old girl from Poland who has cancer of the eyes. In November of last year Zuzia had her right eye removed due to the cancer. Presently her left eye is also affected by her illness. Unfortunately the medical services provided in Poland do not cover the costs of a prosthetic eye which needs to be changed every 6 months due to the girl still growing and rehabilitation. The children of the Polish school in Mahopac helped us prepare Christmas ornaments, table centerpieces and baked goods. In addition there were numerous artworks for sale made by children from previous Russian Republics. Thanks to the goodwill of the people present during the time of the show we were able to raise $2,148 dollars all of which have already been sent to Zuzia. We are presently continuing on our mission to help raise money for the little girl.

Our next fundraising event will take place during our annual charity ball on January 31st 2008 in Princess Manor.

We thank you for your kind and open hearts in Zuzia's name.
