CHIRTISTMAS CAROL AND PASTORAL CONCERT

On January 27, 2007 Belvedere Charity Inc. organized a Christmas Carol and Pastoral Concert called "Children-for Children", performed, by young artists. The idea behind the concert was to help Ola Matejczuk, a 10-month old girl suffering from a heart condition from birth. Ola is under the constant watch of a cardio-surgeon and requires many serious and complicated operations.
Our concert program was filled with activities and there was standing room only in the  auditorium. The main attraction of the evening was the performance by two children's choirs under the direction of Izabela Kobus-Salkin and Paulina Piedzi. The young artists sang solo, and also gave beautiful piano recitals. The carols and pastorals were sung in Polish, English and German. A big attraction for the young kids was a raffle in which we gave away jewelry sets, perfume, stuffed animals and candy. During the concert guests had the opportunity to enjoy an exhibition of works by Polish artist-decorator Jolanta Kwiatkowska as well as children's holiday drawings from the Polish-American Day Care Preschool.
